UNDER GRADUATE COURSES
(a) A pass in H.S.C.Examination (Academic) of the 10plus 3
curriculum of the Government of Tamilnadu with Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry as the three of the four subjects of study
under part-III with minimum of 60% in science subjects and 60%in
Mathematics with an aggregate of not less than 140 out of 200 for
B.C. , and 120 out of 200 for M.B.C. Also the minimum for science
subject is 55% for M.B.C
(or)
(b) A pass in H.S.C.Examination (Vocational) Of plus 2 curriculum
of the Government of Tamilnadu in the occupational area of
Engineering Technology as the case may be with Mathematics or
Physics as related subject with minimum of 60% in Mathematics /
Physics and 60% in the vocational subjects with an aggregate of
70% in all subjects put together.
(or)
(c) A pass in Diploma Examination in Engineering of the State
Board of Technical Education and Training,Tamilnadu with minimum
of 60% in each subject of the last two Semesters and an aggregate
of 70% in all subjects put together
(or)
(d) Any other Equivalent Qualification approved by the State
Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil
Nadu.
AGE LIMIT: The candidate should not have completed the age as
indicated below as on First July of the relevant year.

POST GRADUATE COURSES
M.C.A - Any Degree with Mathematics in +2 and with 55% marks
M.B.A (Full time) - Any Degree with 55% marks
M.B.A (Part time) - As above and with 2 years work Experience
M.E (Thermal) - B.E.Degree in
Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Chemical/Electrical Engg.
with 55% marks.
M.E (Applied Electronics) - B.E.Degree in
E.C.E/Instrumentation/EEE with 55% marks.
Various types of scholarships, loan scholarships, fees
collection are available. Details are available with scholarship
section of the office.
A student aid fund is being created which will render financial
help deserving students who do not have any other scholarship.
A student enrolling in various under-graduate courses assumes
an obligation to conduct himself in a manner compatible with the
college function as an educational institution. The first and
foremost ideal of the Trust and this college is Discipline. As
only disciplined engineer is an asset to the Country, this
institution believes in building a disciplined society of
engineers. The students of engineer are privileged member of
society, they are therefore expected to display first, self
imposed discipline and exemplary character. They shall conduct
themselves in a manner worthy of their professional ethics and
the ideal of the college and the Trust .
Removal of those who fail to meet these requirements is in the
interest of the college. Students are under direct supervision of
the college authorities on the campus. The students conduct and
behavior are important and any decision (including that of
removal from the college/hostel) with respect tot the conduct and
the behavior of the student by the principle of the college is
final. The parents and the student must execute a bond, accepting
and agreeing for these conditions.
APPLYING FOR ADMISSION
(a) Application for admission to the Mohamed Sathak Engineering
College , Kilakarai under the MANAGEMENT QUATA should be
submitted to

(b) Every application must be accompanied by the following
documents neatly secured together;
(i) A crossed postal order of Rs.25.00 towards registration fees
(not refundable) endorsed in favour of Principal , Mohamed Sathak
Engineering College,Kilakarai -623806,payable at Kilakarai Post
Office,Kilakarai dated not earlier than the date of
advertisement.
(ii) Documents in support of entries in item Nos.4,9,13&18 in
the application form.
(iii) 3copies of Stamp size photograph.

a) Do not enclose any original certificate
b) All original certificates should be produced at the time of
admission.
c) Parent or guardian who shall stand guarantee to the conduct
and behavior of the students and who could execute a bond
guaranteeing the conduct and behaviour during his ward's stay in
this institution,shall accompany the student on admission day.
ATTENDENCE AND LEAVE RULES
The minimum requirment of attendance is
1.Student holding the scholarship / wishing to obtain scholarship
90%
2.All other students 80%
For genuine reasons the students wishing to take leave shall
submit the leave letter to the Principal,if a student is absent
for period without prior sanction, it will be treated as absent
for half a day.
Leave application must be submitted in advance and in cases of emergency the leave application shall be submitted on the very first day of attendance after the period of absence.
FEES
COLLEGE TUTION FEES:
The Tution Fees will be charged as per Government Norms for Free
Seats and Payable Seats.Fees once paid will not be refunded.The
original certificates will be issued back either completion of
course or after paying in full the fees stipulated for the full
course.
HOSTEL FEES AND MESS DUES
The Hostel Fees are charges for full year. Prepayment of the
Hostel fees is necessary for allotment of rooms.The fees once
paid will not be refunded.
The mess dues will be paid before 15th of next month.If mess
charges are delayed beyond this date fines will be imposed.
In addition to this admission fees,caution deposits as specified
by the college authorities are to be paid.
