A masterplan for the College has been prepared at a total outlay of Rs.10crores and the construction work is nearing completion in the 150 acres of land belonging to the Trust, adjoining to the Polytechnic campus. The classes are going on in the new building of the Engineering College.
The Engineering College campus is located on the either side of the Kilakarai-Erwadi Trunk Road at a Distance of about 3 Kilometers from Kilakarai Town. Kilakarai Town is situated 16 Kilometers off Ramanathapuram railway station in the East Coast road. The college is about 150 acres in Kilakarai-Ervadi road at the 3km distance from Kilakarai to Ervadi road on the East Coast road.
The college is accessible through buses from Kilakarai and Ramanathapuram (20km). The nearest railway station is located in Ramanathapuram. The nearest airport is in Madurai at about 125km distance from Kilakarai
