DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

Started in 1984 this department have already contributed 600 practising Engineers to the construction industry. Under the supervision of two senior Professors, each of them having about 40 years of industrial and academic experience the department has developed good infrastructure and laboratory facilities. It has already produced 11 Rank holders in Madurai Kamaraj University.
The department is very active in providing consultancy service to the local construction industry. We offer testing services for Bricks, Steel, Wood, Tiles, Cements, Mortar and Concrete. We also conduct surveys and provide supervision service thus providing ample oppurtunity for our students to get actual field experience even while they are studying in this department.
