In addition to this, computing facilities are provided to the main office and main library. The Computer centres accommodates the Pentum, & Pentium II configuration systems, which operates on platforms like Windows NT, Lotus Domino, Linux, and Novell Netware. Well established LAN & windows NT network connections are made in the centres for connecting all the systems into the variouys servers.
The licensed software collections includes ORACLE 8,Visual Studio, Lotus Notes, Java AutoCAD2000, ESPIRIT, ANSYS, 3D-Studio Max, MATLAB etc., In additon, the centres are provided with facilities like Multimedia projectors, scanners, laser & ink-jet printers. THIS DEPARTMENT also has a separate Hardware laboratory and Microprocessor laboratoties for its hardware facility requirements.
